Yes, I am back in Labuan and Yes I've abandoned this blog which I know I've just started also... Sigh~~~~~~~~ Reason? Cuz...

THE CONNECTION IN LABUAN IS SO DAMN SLOOOWWWWWW~~~~~~~~~~

Life in labuan is freaking boring and dull. I'm so not used with the routine life - wake up, chores, sleep. and I've repeat this everyday since I arrived labuan and will be, until 22nd dec! I so wanna get the heck out of here... *I know I said that when I was still in Miri too, but yeah, this place is worst.* At least in miri I can do whatever I want, whenever. Sigh...

I guess I should find something more interesting to write next time. *i hope there's still next time, cuz I'm bored to almost death here.* But yeah, this post is just to let some of u guys know I'm still alive k? so, don't worry! =)

At last... without the metal and bling-bling in my mouth~~

So, it is officially 2 weeks now since I had my braces off... YAY!

I had it for only around 1 year+. I was quite surprised when the orthodontist just took it off on my 2nd last appointment. cuz, I've asked him before and he said the braces probably can only be removed in April 2009.

So, how do I feel? Happy of course! It is so inconvenient with the braces on... After I eat, I'll automatically will look for my hp *my hp kinda have a mirror* and check if there's any food got stucked in it~~ It is super ehw okay??? And one thing for sure, with the braces on, I was very self-conscious... whenever I laugh, I'll cover my mouth with my hand... and whenever I smile, the metal on my teeth just hurts my lips.... whenever I talk, my pronunciation just goes wrong cuz of the teeth gap... I can go on and on about it... *those of you who never had braces on b4, you wont understand.... *

So, when I finally had it off, I was so so so so so *times gazillion* HAPPY!!!! I mean, seriously happy! I called my mom immediately after that and asked her to call me back... this is how the conversation goes...

Me: "Mom!!! faster call me back on my cell!"
Mom: "uhhh??? okayy okayy.." *thought there's an emergency*
*call back*
Mom: "What happened??"
Me: "you know! I had my braces off TODAY!!! OMG!!!"
Mom: *silence* "okay..."
Me: "what do u mean 'okay...'....?"
Mom: "you asked me to call you back so urgently just to tell me you had your braces off?"
Me: "uhhh, yeah?"
Mom: "*silence again* "ohhh, okay....so?"
Me: *sweat.............................*

So cold oh!!! many of the people I told also just say "ohh...cool...". But, you can differentiate them with those who ever had braces on before... they'll go "OHHHH!!!! WOW!!!" Cuz, you have to actually wear braces to be excited when it is OFF!!!

But, there's another bunch of people who are excited like I'm announcing my engagement like that~ These ppl are my Student Council members who I've worked with this year... Cuz I had my braces off on Thurs (30/10) and had a Council Dinner in Dynasty Hotel the next night (31/10). So, while waiting for the others to arrive, I kinda told the ppl at my table, "hey, check this out...*smile and show off teeth*..." Nadia at 1st was staring at me and trying to figure "check what out?"... then, she goes "omg! no more braces!" *in a kinda loud voice* then catherine take out her camera and start to take picture.... *sweat*... I was forced to take picture showing off my teeth cuz they never see me doing that... *I kinda have a trademark-smile = not showing my teeth when I smile*...

So, yeah... Now I'm wearing my retainer which I find pretty annoying cuz I can't pronounce properly with 'that-thing' in my mouth... It's ugly, it's annoying and it's uncomfortable...that's all I can say... well, like most guys will say "girls will do anything to look pretty..." I kinda agree with that, cuz hey, not everyone is born pretty okay?.... =P

I've picked the 2 best picture of me smiling without the braces on... So this is how I look like when I smile *showing off my teeth*...

So, as for my 1st official entry... It'll be on my Twen-teen-one Birthday! Yay!

So, the night and day goes like this...

Pre-Birthday
9:30pm - Jackson msn me saying he wants me to accompany him to campus. He said something about his friends all busy and he needs to use the campus' PC to do his assignment *right*. Actually, I was super sleepy and my right eye got infection (its super red and painful ok?). So, I said not this time and he has to go alone. But, he insists and say he'll pick me up at 11+pm. Hmm... somehow, I know there's a surprise for me *not that I tidak tau malu,but it's kinda predictable* =P, so I just go with the flow. Then on 11+, while waiting for Jackson, saw Joel's car at my house picking up my hsemate,ying. Then I heard she said something about going to 'supper'. So, I said to myself "hmm,right...". Then again on my way out, I saw Jackson's civil buddies' car, going over to his house... *what a coincidence, suddenly the people that I know just have something to do, at the same time, at the same area...* then...

J: What? they're going to go my hse take something.
Me: Ya ya, I din say anything *still smiling*
J: Whatever...

1140pm - Reached campus... went to ME lab... Adrian and Sharon called from Perth... *suspected few things already cuz Jackson was on the phone every 5 mins"

12+ - J Said "ok, my groupmate done her work already, she's in G3 lab, wanna go take now..." So, headed down to G3 hesitantly... so walk walk walk... till almost reach G3... I saw smoke, with sparks of green,red,yellow and donno what colour else...

Me: yer...why got smoke wan???? scarrry....
Heng,Alan, Alex *civil buddies* and Agnes: "Happy birthday to u...happy birthday to u..... *cont' the bday song*.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!"
Me: *speechless*... what r u doing here??? *then play the bunga api with them....happily!*

Then continue walking towards G3 lab *suspect something wrong dy*.... then....I went to the last lab, the back door open, then all walk towards back door...

Me: "why dont go from front door?"
Them: "erm, go la go la..can also..."
Me: *walk into G3 lab then no one.... but all PC's are on...in powerpoint slide, but I didnt notice...then i look closely....its......*

And my cake is super BIG! like tayar the civil buddies said...

So, I have to identify each slide who do which one...Wah....really really surprise... Thanks to Jing who planned all these and the people who were there to surprise me! *touched*

Then, everyone go to my place, to eat the cake... and had "debate"... And they all went back at 3am *i think*

3:40am - Finished replying FB & Fster's Bday wishes...

BIRTHDAY Day~!
9am - Awaken by the mother's call and msgs

9:30am - No electricity... so, I decided to paint my nails and play game...

11am *i think* - Ade come into my room with Starbucks paper bag and notes from friends... TADAAA~~~


Touching kan? from my classmates tho some i'm not even close with... but those cards are really personalised lor...*touched*... oh, guess how many in total??? =D - thanks again to Jing for planning all these~-

12pm - J came to my place with his 3 civil buddies and agnes *again* with a cake, a bday song and a present! I was super surprised in my cincai look again *luckily not baru-bangun's face* and omg i look so ah-ma... We went to 9-to-5 for lunch after that.

630pm - Went for dinner in Citrus... I think the food there is okla...~

Then after that we head down to Park Everly *but its not the feel we're looking for...* hahaha~ so we headed down to Mariott. Had Cheesecake and wine and picture taking... Let the picture speaks for itself~ :)
